Hi all, I've just fitted a new stator because there wasn't a spark and was told this could be the problem. Now the spark is very weak but still won't start? Plug is bone dry. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Air, Fuel and spark and exhaust is what is required.

Check spark strength with a adjustable gap spark tester. If ok check for fuel if both present check compression.

check coil connections. Check for spark loss from coil, bad wire coil etc.

Then if nothing its time to start looking deeper, Checking values with a ohm meter.

Sorry no fast answer.

Check resistance in spark plug cap. Years ago I had a dead Suzuki and a young but very good mechanic suggested replacing the removable resistor with tinfoil and the bike fired right up. My Husaberg is not replaceable but you can check resistance with an ohmeter, the ohms is written right on the cap.
