Hello all,
I am the new owner of a 2011 FE570, its a great bike with more power than I need, but thats a good problem. I do mostly tight technical trails and will be doing some open desert riding after I get it all dialed in.
So today I was riding on an open stretch of road and decided to "get on it" and it just quite running. I have the Trail Tech Vapor computer and I did see the yellow warning light come on but I have seen that before on the trails, but it kept running. I tried bump starting it while I was moving with no success with the first try but just before coasting to a stop it fired back up.
Could it be a rev limiter that was protecting the engine? I read through both the Vapor manual and the owners manual and didn't see anything about such a program/function. Hopefully somebody out there knows something about this as it would be a bad day to have it quite in the middle of nowhere.
Thanks for any help!
