Gday everyone,
I'm a longtime owner first time forum member. I'm a trade qualified automotive technician and auto electrician, although I've left the industry 10 years ago and work in an unrelated industry now. I sure do miss access to workshop equipment!
I've owned my 03 FE650 since 2006 and have recently given it a bit of a cosmetic freshen up looking to participate in Supermoto ride days put on at a gokart track very local to me.
On a test recently I lost some compression after a big rev. So engines out and plan on a rebuild. Been reading with much interest the various threads about main bearing upgrades etc. Fantastic and fascinating reading written by some clever guys. Much respect to you.
My plan ATM is to throw the CB over my shoulder and run the NTN 20/16 mm bearings and obviously crank rebalance.
Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself and thank everyone for their valued contributions.
