Hello all! I scored a smokin' deal on a 2010 FE570 from a guy that I rode the LA/Barstow/Vegas rally with a few weeks ago. I am now in the 70° club and learning a lot about these bikes. Mine has a subframe tank, rekluse clutch, BajaDesigns light, rebuilt suspension, and some other things I'm sure I will come across. Thanks for all of the info in these threads.

I already did some work on it by rerouting the rear fuel vent tube to a better location. I'm learning a lot already.

Welcome to the club

Welcome to the 70 degree club! I have a 2011 FE390 and my son-in-law has a 2010 FE390. I live in the hills east or Durango, CO, not that far from you. In Sept of 2018 we rode from Trinidad, CO to Silverton, CO on the TransAmerica Trail (4 days) and rode right through Salida (love the old bar/restaurant: "CURRENTS STEAK & SEAFOOD, as I recall). I HIGHLY recommend that portion of the TAT - one of the best sections on the entire TAT. (We rode Silverton to Moab this year in early Oct. then trails Moab before returning - another great section, esp during the aspen season!) You'll love your "new" bike. I've ridden one 570 - too much for this old geezer! My 390 is almost stock, just some suspension work, and then a brake light, horn, etc. to get it street legal. Best off-road bike I've every ridden, esp. with its fantastic low end torque - I seldom use the clutch even on mountain passes, etc. - it just chugs along happily. On Marshall Pass, just SW of Salida we saw 5 moose - 3 bulls at the summit and one bull with a cow and calf about 2 miles down the western slope.
GREAT riding on that pass! If you go about 3-4 hours west you'll find the passes near Silverton just amazing also! Enjoy and keep in touch. -HusaGeezer

BTW, I think I saw a post a year or so ago by another guy in Salida who has a 270 degree Berg - unless you bought his bike! Ride safe - pray for Spring! (We got about 7 inches of white today! - HusaGeezer

Same Husaberg in CO

I purchased my 2010 FE 570 in July and I love it. I am near Fort Collins but I do a decent amount of riding near Salida. Usually Taylor Park, but due to early season snow we rode Sargents on last trip. This is my first EFI bike so I have had to learn a few lessons about keeping fuel system clean but otherwise it has been a great new bike.
