Hi everyone,

I am considering purchasing a Husaberg FE 450 from 2009 in Northern Italy. The bike has about 165 hours and seems in good shape from the pictures and has only been used for amatuer off-roading (I haven't tested personally yet but will do as soon the lockdown eases).

Is 165 hours a lot for an enduro bike? What are the main issues I should look out for when going to test ride it? The owner wants 2500 € - do you think this is a fair price?

Thanks!

Thats low use for its age. However the most imortant thing for a bikes longevity its servicing. That can be a little harder to tell. You can usually get a feel if it has been loved and serviced by meeting the owner and having a good chat but thats harder in lockdown. My experience and on this forum in general is that these models are reliable and robust enough. On price, I always consider the quality of the bike over price. Buy the wrong one and it will cost you money for years to come.

Good luck.
