Hi,
I posted a few days ago asking about differences between the 2009 and 2010 FE450 and got a lot of good feedback. Thanks to all for that. Well, I took delivery today on a new 2009 FE450. Just thought I'd post up here and say hello.
My new bike, getting ready to try it out in the back yard and run in a the first break-in heat cycle. I was pleased to learn that my Akrapovic Titanium slip-on would bolt right over onto the 'berg, along with my Hard Parts rear rotor guard.
Here's the bike it is replacing, my beloved 2007 450 EXC. This bike still runs fantastic. But I'm digging the fuel injection and the handling of the new "Blue" KTMs. Otherwise, I'd stick with this bike, it's really a bittersweet separation because I'm really looking forward to owning the FE, but the EXC has been such a great bike, it's hard to part with it. But the CFO says only one can stay.
