am just trying to find three more people who would like a brand new performance system making for their 2001-2008 450, 470, 501, 550, 650 husaberg on or off road!

i am talking to the man in belguim that made the FP systems and i can get 5 sets made cheaper than 1 as you can imagine! cost is expected to be £400 new. they are a performance pipe but with two tweeks, one to increase the centre section in length and also the silencer by 5cm bringing the tailpipe out 8cm lower than the original system thus avoiding the indicators and the seat pan which likes to wear them away! a ring can be put in the exit to quieten the system down further.

let me know if you are interested and a deposit will suffice while i sort it and get the order in. the Db will be marginal and i expect 90 and 94Db open.

i will confirm further.

you can get the clutch cover off with the system in situ and it's all sprung together. it will be made in such a way that it can accomodate from the 450 to the 650 when you sell it on etc.

this is a photo of the clean lines of the new design EP exhaust system without the tailpipe. FP is now called EP. it's made for the 650 and i guess it will fit the 550 as well with a little rotary file work. i have a 650 system on my 400 so everything is possible.....!!!

i have two orders for this system and want two more if anyone is interested. £450 normally but £400 for a group buy.

Hello Taffy, was that £400 for the whole system including silencer? and also how much lighter is it?

i'm just trying to do this for trade price. that's what he wants to charge me! but i shall demand a favour afterwards! yes it includes the 'silencer' which is a loose term on an FP.

it is defo a saving on original. i would start with this system and if i needed a real silencer i would talk to simon. i would love to see simon's efforts rewarded.

In order to have this less restrictive system on the bike it is needed to have the road and track jet kit of yours,right?
Also i see it will end up lower on the bike's end-will again the "silencer" be touched by the rear wheel when wheeling?
If this open one will make 90-94dB,how much does the OEM one on my bike does?
I own FS650e-'06.
I see ppl here say the gains will be in the low and mid range with that system,correct?

Hey, here some answers. Is it FP or EP that you're selling btw? If it was Eddy you talked to it will be EP.
- The silencer doesn't toch the tire while wheeling, but i does when you take a jump.
- It really is quite loud, between a leovinci and an akra. It's a real difference between this and the stock exhaust.
- And on my bike the gains are not in the low and middle range, but rather in the high end (off course a little at the low end also).
 
on a 450 the pipe will only work at peak revs. that's not true of a 650. the systems would be made for a 650. i've also stated that i want another 10cm or so on the tailpipe lengthy.

Hello,

I will look for a dyno sheet I made For a customer with the EP.
config 628cc with that exhaust shape, so which gives more low and mid.

this in contrary to the older EP (former FP) who makes more in mid and certainly in toprevs.

sound The first one about 88Db on idle,and 93DB on 3000rpm and measured in angle og 45 degrees at 1 m distance.

second exhaust was louder about 90DB idle and 95-96Db at 3000rpm.
the stuff inside the muffler I always use SILENT SPORT.

CONCLUDING: infacta very good exhaust for a really good price.

Will Eddy make a titan version? If yes, what's the prise?
And what will change if the tailpipe is about 15cm shorter then the avarage?
