I was just wondering how everyone is feeling about the loss of the husaberg? I went to the KTM demo ride the other day and thought the bikes were nice of course. They were brand new. I just felt like they were all the same. The loss of the 70 degree motor is such a shame. At least I have one. Different is what I wanted and I found it by buying a 570 70 degree. The woods are full of orange bikes here in western Canada.

I'm kinda sad that I won't be able to replace my bike with another along the same blood line. I know the KTM and the Hussy are cousin, but now it's like they are twins. I was really disappointed when I looked at the new Hussy bike line up and found not a single street legal bike period.

I really like the way the 70 degree motor makes the bike feel lighter and keeps the weight down low. I just went riding this past weekend with a KTM rider and another rider on a Suzuki, booth are trying to find a 70 degree Hussy now. I let the KTM rider take the Hussy for a spin, and he raved about how much better he found the bike to be than the KTM he was riding, lest you think he was some novice, he once was ranked in the top 20 pro MX riders in the nation. So, that being said, yes, I'm sad to see the direction KTM decided to go with the Hussy. :cuss:

i thought the Same till i got got rid of my FE 390 and replaced it with the new FE-350.My 390 was a good trail bike but a handful in enduros. yeah great suspension but extremely top heavy and exhausting to maneuver in the tight stuff.excessive heat from the motor and no matter what i did with pipe wrap and heat insulation the fuel would boil during intense riding and constantly stall !!! i just did my first enduro this past weekend with the 350 and WOW !!! WHAT A MACHINE !!! super nimble, ultrafast steering ,superb suspension and never did it were me down in the heat and never burped or stalled !!! I loved my 70degree when i got it but ill never miss it !! call the new bergs what you may but it kicks the crap out of the 70 degree dinosaur............ BTW Finish first C- 4-STROKE .Broad mountain enduro

I agree with most of what you say Brad. Though I won't go as far as to calling them dinasaurs.

But yes, there is no way I'd go back to my 570 at this point either. The new Bergs (blue KTM's) are vastly superior in every aspect. I'm blown away by the bike every time I ride it.
Sadly, the tractor feel is gone, but all the performance aspects of the new blue KTMs greatly overshadows the few moments i miss my tractor.

I'm truly bummed about Husabergs fate, truly, but my sadness for the brand couldn't allow me to ignore the best handling/performing bike out there, regardless of color.
