I got to ride my new bike last weekend and there are lots of improvement
the fork is the best stock WP fork I have experience rebound is good compression is a
little stiff in slow going but when speed picks up it does not deflect or wallow feels much
better than past forks
shock is improved rebound is good gone is pogo effect of years past compression is
improved but some times catapults on big roots and rocks keep in mind things might
change when suspension breaks in
the frame is different when compared to my 04 the front wheel is 15-20mm ahead while
retaining fork angle fork looks to be taller
motor is alot peppier than 04 but it is smooth the wheelie factor is improved and I think
that things will improve as she breaks in
the whole package has become lighter 247lbs on bathroom scale I know it is not that
accurate but it is lighter than 04
riding the new steed is a pleasure through the s turns she is much easier to throw around
it feel more like a ktm 300, coming out of switch back turn she stands up easier, going down hill and through woops the front end is much lighter it does not nose dive
but at times you have to make sure that you are over the handle bars when coming out of a turn a think that this bike rewards those who like stay forward on the bike
cant wait to go out and ride again
