This is my update, I posted several questions a week or so ago and received very thoughtful and useful tips, thank you.
1) chain hits frame occassionally- rarely now with the split link on the inside!
2) Overheating, not as bad. I flushed the cooling system (yes brand new bike) and got a fair amount of some unknown material from the radiator, that would adhere to the inner(pressurized) seal of the radiator cap, after a good ride. This silver material could just left over sealant/paint/gasket, I don't know I didn't disassemble the engine. Bleeding the cooling system is also necessary even if work is NOT performed on the system.
A couple of other riders, KDX 200, KTM 300 boiled worse than me. The nature of the trail in question, is most likely the culprit, that and YES it needs a fan(fe450) My yamaha is the exception, not the rule.
3) metal fragments also quit showing up at the last oil change(23hr).
All in all, the bike has broken me in and I broke the berg in. It is definitely an all smiles ride  , and I appreciate the bike IMMENSELY. They are unique hand made race/enthusiest machines, not bland mass produced mediocre transportation. Treat it so, and feel the FORCE!! :firestarter:
