I would appreciate anyones feedback on MotoComposites engine covers and header guard.

How do they look after some time?
Has the header guard stood up to the usual "drops"? (I had another brand that looked good however it only lasted a couple of "drops" before it cracked through)

I had one on my older berg, broke first time but was a reasonable fall, The header guard on my mates newer berg has heat cracks where it mounts and has suffered some hits but is still intact, it's about 3.5 years old, does not look as pretty as when new, not sure if I will buy one as the price is a bit steep
hope this helps

I had a header guard on my old 07 FE550 for a short time a few years ago. I bought it off the net when i first got the bike as I thought I would burn my pants on the header, as in the ad for the guard. When it arrived I was a little disappointed in the quality for the price but it looked pretty bling. The mounting was a couple of hose clamps that looked like they came from the local mitre 10. I chucked it on the bike anyway and found the only contact my pants made with it was because it stuck out more than the pipe. I took it off and found that my pants rarely make contact with the pipe anyway so i left it off. It is currently floating around in my parts bin down the back of my shed!
