Hi,
I've been waiting for MEDOGROCKET to put a post up about these guards. He's been a bit slack so I will start the post and i am sure he will put his bit in.

MotoComposites from Woolongong NSW, Australia started making these guards last year. Initially for the KTM Motorex motocross team, and then went into production for Bergs as well.

Yes I am guilty of Bogarting, as I am bloody sure I will never share my beer!!

As far as the header pipe guard goes it is a good thing, I have been using it for a couple of months now, as I use nylons that go over my boots and a prone to even more damage by header pipes I can only give the guards the thumbs up.
As with the bling look, the carbon fibre maintains the look well and has not required any attention since it was installed
Go get one and save your nylons.
 
Here in the US, nylons are the same as pantyhose. Which is either real funny, or scary if you get a mental picture! 8O

Thanks for the write up
The shields are proving popular with Husaberg riders far & wide .
If anyone has suggestions on anything else they want don't hesitate to drop us a line were all ears .
We are rallying the troops to go to the 08 force ride & will be bringing some gear with us
for husabergs & the orange bergs & huskies & 08 TMs .
Ill be selling the blinged up orange berg for a shiny 09 husaberg soon so Ill have good bits for them early as the bikes arrive .

Motocomposites Header sheilds

Motcomposites has recently released their 09 husaberg header sheild .
Sutto's has a bunch ,so do Dirtbikefactory & Topgear . Ive got 1 on my 09 & it looks great , there's plenty of protection for the header & your pants . check them out

They only do Header shields for 05 to 08 Husaberg, But the do a muffler shield for 04 to 08 husaberg
The 09 prices are as follows in oz $ header shield $170.00 Clutch & Ignition cover set $180.00
They are avail;able throught any Husaberg dealer in Australia or Indy cycle in the US
