I'm now on the last legs of getting this Berg up & road ready (02 FE650). I've had the lump checked over by DCR and the carb set up etc. (By post as we're down south)
We fitted the carb today, fired her up, she idles lovely, but for some reason the revs are sticking for around 5 secs after opening throttle???
The bike is also bogging out mid-full throttle, almost giving off a slight backfire sound that you would noormally hear on the overrun (air leak?). We removed the air filter (which was very moist possibly due to Being out in cold) it cured it slightly but not enough.
We noticed there was a little bit fuel sitting on the air intake side of the carb within the frame, is this normal??
I noticed that the oil is milky now also, is this normal or has the water pump seal gone and mixing with the oil?
Sorry for the long post early doors!!
