Ok, I've got a Ducati, so I know about ignition system issues...
Anwyay, I've bought regulator from this company with much success...
And suprise! That have a kit for "all" KTM 400's with additional wattage for lighting...has anyone tried to fit this to their Husaberg?

I've got an FE400 that almost stranded me in the middle of no where Sunday....I was on it hard in a backwoods trail when I ran up behind 1 adult and 3 twelve year olds, who wouldn't let me by....(narrow trail on top of it).
Anyway, after 1 minute of putting behind them, lagging in 2nd gear, I hear a big "pop" come from my bike...and it started slowing down...and died. They kept going, totally oblivious to my fate...lol...it sucked bad.
Anyway, I got it started again, it went 50 feet, and then died again. I checked vent lines, and all sort of silly crap...but finally surmised my ignition might be dying...and the bike felt really hot(it was 98 degrees Sunday here).
After I let it cool for about 15 minutes, it fired up again, and almost died, but I kept the gas on and got off the trail, onto a gravel road and hauled *** back to my trailer....
I was so tired I didn't pull the plug or anything, I guess I will, but right now I"m assuming it's my stator going south...
Feel free to ask questions....but I figured if I'm gonna have to replace it...I'd like to try to get something more robust-like the above kit...
Interestingly, they also sell CDI units...but don't have any listed for Berg's or KTMs.
