Hi,

I owner of FE390 2011 and i am looking for improve performance at the low range.

I googled for some details and i found:

1. Megabomb
2. open exhaust
3. Chip cheat the cpu

What do you say?
There is any other idea to have more power in the low range / More sensitive throttle?

Thank you in advanced

:)

Hi there and welcome to the berg community ! Do you have the map switch ? The aggressive setting is the way to go if you do.

A friend has a FMF megabomb and 4.1 system on his 09 FE 570 and it felt better in the low to mid range compared to my stock 570.

Or......

go up to a 95mm cylinder and piston to increase your displacement to 449cc.

OR

Use a 72mm 570 crank and rod with a 104mm cylinder and FE 450 cam for truly mountainous low end. :D

Thank you for your reply

I tried the switch position to 2 and i didn't feel any changes :-(

What exactly the megabomb do?

Apparently it approximates the principals of a 2 stroke expansion chamber, the idea is better scavenging of the cylinder and that allows more fresh intake charge to enter the cylinder. But it only is really effective in a set rpm range.

Remember there is no replacement for displacement.

then again you could try this as suggested by big berg.
