oil filter looks to be left side low & easy to get too, where is the oil drain at? any oil screens?

Do you have to remove the radiators to remove the top and check/adjust valves? or just have tiny fingers?

Bob,

Looks like from the orginal 2009 info thread that the oil drain bolt is horizontal on the bottom and clutch side in the back. It also appears that there is one screen mounted vertically on the clutch side in the front.

However, I would think that if there is a scavenging pump, and a pressure pump that both would have intake screens like it's KTM bretheren.

You will also notice that the front and rear brakes are wired up for a stop light. The only other thing I noticed is that the head light bulb is one of the older type, or non halogen. Don't know what' up with that.

It would be interesting to know whether or not the charging circuits have been modified to make it an all DC system, as the current system has the charging coil split into two different circuits, An AC system for lighting of approx 100 watt's, and the DC system of approx 30 watts for charging the battery, so that' obviously a total of 130 watts and at 12 volts that 10.8 amps. I am assuming that the fuel pump is fed DC voltage, as the varying motor speeds would cause frequency changes that would lead to varying pump speeds/output levels. I checked the Kehin site to have a look at their fuel pumps and the smallest is a 294kpa/42psi unit that puts out 50 liters an hour and it draws 2.4 amps @ 12VDC.

Oh come on ........posting pictures like that is just not rite, :D :D I will be choosing between the new berg and the 450 Bmw, but when i see the new berg it's going to be hard to beat.

I all ready ask for my 09 Husaberg, and even the dealer is taking my 06 as a down payment in a good price, I had been very supportive with this brand in Mexico, many friends of mine, ride KTM, and I am always speaking about how good, fast and reliable is my bike, What I say is that a Husa is not for everybody, if you take good care for her, she will for you, maybe other brands are different but you are like the ships, If you want to go with the flow go orange, but if your intentions are being different you should go for a Berg.

Cheers

I'am saving my $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for an 09 ! Can't wait.

Christmas 2009 is gonna be saweeet for some lucky Husaberg faithful here. There better be some 2009 ride report posts. My one complaint about this site is very few ride posts. It's all about the mechanics of bike ownership here,,,,which is fine. Knowing your machine is a passion I understand, but RIDING HUSABERGS IS A PASSION TOO!

Here are my friend Eriks' pictures from the first round of the Swedish Enduro Champs. Jocke, of course, won with Björne in 2nd. The bikes seem to go like... I don't know what.

I look forward to seeing it with it's own plastic. Still not used to the pipe and chain on the wrong side.
