My race sag has been 98mm on a 2010 FE 450. It wanders horibly in Michigan Sand. If I get id back to around 107mm will it not scare the **** out of me anymore in the sand? I recently dropped 20lbs and that is why my sag got so low, no longer a fat ***, and am in great shape. Want to get this front end sorted out. Dale did my suspension and prior to my wieght loss it was AWESOME.

Help please.

Probably. I've bought two dirt bikes that were AFAIK set up for riders at least 10kg heavier (20lbs+). And they did indeed feel scary in sand :) Great riding clinic though, all those months being stressed out over a wiggly front-end :)

Then I also know that an '05 450 Husaberg that a friend bought was wayyyyy too low in the rear, and it felt HEAVY in the turns. I.e. unnecessarily stable. So I'm pretty sure that yes, you'll improve the handling for what you're doing if you drop the rear a bit.
