Bought the Husaberg mapping switch. Is this just a 'plug and play' switch to access the 3 settings or does the dealer have to 'flash' the 3 settings into the EFI before installing the switch. Not sure what my dealer has done and I'm getting little support from them.

It's just a matter of finding the cable/plug behind the headlight mask and plug the map switch in and away you go.
The difference is subtle between the 3 maps. I just ride with mine on soft and it still lifts the front wheel enough for me. I have heard people on here call soft "traction" cause it is not really that soft.
Davo.

In 'soft' I can lift the wheel until third gear, but only intentionally - or if I am climbing something pretty steep.

One day I decided to try riding on trails in the 'aggressive' setting. When I went to lift the front wheel over a one foot high tree across the trail, the wheel lifted about four feet instead of the one foot I intended. 'Standard' mode as just a bit less. So I rode the rest of the day in 'soft'.

My impression is that power delivery is a bit more in quantity, but also significantly more immediate in 'aggressive' mode.

I think the map switch is great. I can have a fairly tame bike for the trails and more power for the pavement.

what bike cc are you talking about ?

On the FX where is the pigtail located to plug the switch into? I looked behind the number plate and can't find it?
