Any input on whether the connections made in a map switch installation are complicated by (my ignorance) the additional electronics on the street legal 570????? KA

Right on Dale! Doesn't surprise me that your on it. Paul at Tri-county also figured that you guy's would have something soon. Count me in for one when their ready. Kim A
 
I have a question for you. Is your bike totally stock? Were you given the option of getting the computer reflashed for off road use only?

I asked one dealer that I have delt with and kind of got the feeling that they weren't sure of what mapping they could do, and I think they think they cannot install the competition map since the bike is CARB legal. But as with all things EPA/CARB, you can circumvent their rules as long as it is for off road use only.

Yes, it's bone stock. The only change was the addition of the fan kit done by the dealer before delivery.
Reflash, I inquired about that very thing. It was suggested to me that if a bike was brought in to a dealer in "racing" condition that the reflash can be do-able. Its my intention to have that performed at the 10 hr. dealer service. We shall see.

I got a 570 shipped to me on Friday and will get it together ASAP and try to sort this out regarding mapping.
