Prolly some stupid questions, but I've looked around, and I can't really find anything about it.

Husaberg fs650e 2007 (270 hours)

How much oil goes on?
How often should I check the valves, and replace the piston?

The previous owner said he had a major service on 150 ish hours. (Can't remember correctly)

The bike runs completely fine, just had a few easy problems because i dident know the bike.

Check out this whole site. There's a section that has both the owner's manual and the maintenance/service manual for your bike. Everything you want/need to know is there. Lots of great people on this board can help you with some tricks, but it's important to review the manuals first. Welcome!

I'd link to the section, but I'm a luddite. However, it's here if you look for it!

I would. But my iPhone won't let me download them.

The lightning strikes the house. We don't have tv or Internet.

The mobile net is so bad it takes 4 minutes just to enter a page.

New problem!!

It comes coolant fluid out of somewhere around my air filter. Suddenly lost the power for a few seconds, then everything seems normal. It also comes alot of smoke out of the exhaust when i shift gears, or get on high rpm.

I'm guessing i ride the bike alot harder then the previous owner, but that should't have alot to do with it

What can cause this problem?

lots !

it might come good but if it were my bike at this stage i would take it all apart and start again then you know the condition of everything

I'll take a closer look tomorrow.
If i don't figure out what the problem is, i'll just ride it till it breaks down.. Much easier to find out what the problem is then :D

you probably have the piston picking up on the liner I'm afraid but let's be optimistic.

perhaps get the head off and give the top end an MOT while you're there. to know/peace of mind is worth a head gasket.

Taffy

The bike runs completly fine now, so my guess is that the previous owner used WAY to much oil on the air filter.. Probly went into the motor, and came out in white smoke.

How often should i clean the filter, and change it?

It all depends... People recommend every ride as a preventative maintenance.

I do mine every 10 hours on normal (non dusty days) however the last 2 rides were dusty and I just did mine because it was pretty dry and dirty....

Do it as you wish, but its pretty easy to judge this by the look of the filter...

Been riding it for 25 or so hours now, so i guess it's time to clean it..

I just looked at the filter, and i don't really know what it looks like when it's new, since i bought the bike a few weeks back.. That's why i ask..

My Husaberg shop is a 2 hour drive, so kinda boring to go there just for a air filter. ^^

Thanks for the answers guys! :):)
