Main Bearing

Ok well i have another question after reading all that! My 2003 FE 501 has what kind of main bearing??? AND it has 110 hrs on it and has not been changed as per manual. I am the second owner, the first was a vet rider and changed oil regularly with the good stuff. I change the oil every other ride with maxima 15/50???

Hallo.

2003 was the first model that came with rollerbearings, on the new enginetype, they have used roller bearing before on one side on the old engine type.
2001-2002: ballbearings.

we do not sell main bearings for a 2003 or newer berg too often.i would be very surprised if they would be needed before 250 hours so dont worry.dan

Hi,

the modelyear 2003 had the good old swedish crank. There were no problems with failed mains.
So far, from my experiences.
