I installed the Rekluse Pro clutch, and did the straight clutch to rear brake conversion by plumbing the clutch hose to the rear brake hose. It works great.

I have a question about how to block off the clutch. I simply put a piece of tubing over the stock banjo bolt to cover the holes and screwed it back in the clutch slave. Anyone have a better idea? Is it possible to remove the clutch slave completely?

I have a Rekluse fitted and have given the LHRB a lot of thought, You can get a adapter so you can have foot and hand brake but there very expensive, The reason i have not done anything yet is, If your facing down hill and you want to adjust your goggles or do something with both hands you cannot take your hand off the brake as your bike will roll away, Maybe you have found away around that ?. Back to your question you could remove the master cylinder just tap up the wiring. :bounce3:

I put cardboard under the double female I took off the hose. not pretty I know....

I agree with Mark about the no footbrake thing but I rarely had a problem because you learn not to park up wrong.

you need to use synthetic 5.1 brake fluid or better still ask for a magura brake piston kit. they only really change the seal on the piston and charge you a fortune for that but there you are.

I also will point out that Magura do a 9.0, 9.5 and a 10.5mm piston mastercylinder and I believe these bikes run the 9.5. well I found the rear brake spongy so i ended up buying a left hand rear brake mastercylinder that has the 10.5mm piston.

the brake is excellent now.
