Without sounding like a complete *****, does anyone know where/how to install a "moto led"flasher relay into the stock berg harness on a 2010 FE. The instructions that came with the unit are vague at best and there are only 3 wires so it should not be that difficult but I don't want to short anything out with the charging/lighting system.I have already gotten the stock flasher and wiring installed and the LED's do not flash, thus the special flasher. The instructions say that I have to retain the stock flasher to keep the indicator lamp functional, but I have no idea what to do with this little "problem solver".thanx from a newbee...

Dont use the relay i tried one didnt work i ended up using resistors they worked a treat.

I ordered the Husaberg switch assembly which comes with the wiring.Very straight forward install with standard lights,it's just going with LED's creates some problems.(but that's the same on any bike). It seems that the LED's do not draw enough amperage to trigger the standard flasher so you need to go with a special LED flasher that wires up differently, and does not have enough to run the indicator light. I pushed ahead with the install and all is well but the indicator light works like a 4way flasher but does not light up!If I run a circuit tester from ground to the primary wire on the indicator plug all is well so that is how I will re-wire it. Long Live The BERG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you if the KTM EXC turn signals and switch gear is the same stuff?

I am not sure so I went the 2010 Husaberg stuff just to make sure.Plus it feels better..............

Thanks, I might be hitting you up for some part numbers, if you don't mind!

When you install LED turn signals on a bike with a single indicator, you need to add some diodes to the indicator circuit.

Check this out: http://www.customdynamics.com/load_equalizer_diodes.htm

The 2005 does the same thing when you go to put 4 LED flashers on, they start running like 4-Way Flashers. I got the DRC Relay, also am unsure were to install it.
