crossover petcock on 450e leaking like an old faucet, yeh, the one directly over the exhaust...tried blowing out but with no luck...happen to anyone else?

i haven't heard of it here before but it might not be something that people bother mentioning....

I just thought that a rolling, two wheeled FIREBALL might be of a little concern... especially if its moi...so if your privates suddenly get that burning feeling it might not be the company you keep!

The right side petcock on my 2000 FE400 will weep, but only while actually moving it. I have a spare (for a KTM) that is ready to be installed if it gets to the point of constant leaking. You might want to take it apart and tighten everything up/ replace any O-rings or gasket if it is to the point of concern you indicate (although it would be interesting to watch I wouldn't wish that occurrence on anyone here).
:bounce5: A safety tip; Don't play with matches while working on fuel tanks

if mine packed up i'd go straight to a husky 610 anyway. see bergoroadracers gallery as well as the doc....

a branch snapped the end off mine a while back , i plugged it with metal putty, i guess after eight months it can stay that way.
