KTM EXC Akrapovic on HSB

Hello,

I read older post but I didn't find any answers on my question. Could I use Akrapovic exhaust from KTM EXC on HSB FE 550 '08? If yes from which model year? Thank you very much.

I went through the same process recently and was told buy my local KTM/Berg dealer that most KTM Akrapovics will fit, basically stick to 04-07 KTM's EXC and it should be right, as a double check get the measurement where the header pipe goes into the Akra
The other thing to remember is the seam will be shown and sticker will be on the tyre side when fitted to the Berg
I did notice some Akra's for some KTM's have a dent built into them to clear something on the bike so look for this also

This DENT in the pipe would be for the Brake Caliper, so it doesn't put a unwanted DENT in the inside edge of the pipe

Thank you very much for responses. I try to find 04-07 exhaust and compare the header pipe dimensions.

another option (which i did) is to keep the enduro muffler with a motocross tip in the end of the pipe.
only cost around $150. good cheap option that works.
it sounds awesome and goes well too. but on a 550 you don't need much anyway.
