RE: KTM cam in a pre
i put a cam from a 04 ktm 525 in my 00 600fe 7 months ago.the cam from the ktm did not have the auto comp release system and the cam had to be machined 1/8 down on the cam gear side,and 1/16 off the gear itself on the mounting side to get the chain aligned correctly.1400 miles later its still going!havent had any issues with starting with electric.
