Dear friends,
I am indeed going to bite the bullet and have a short run of Keihin FCR 41 jet kits manufactured for Husaberg application. Since I am placing the minimum quantity order of 100 pieces said order will not be a priority with the manufacturer consequently we are realistically looking @ a minimum lead time of 45 days.

Said kit will be based upon the final field testing results provided courtesy of our own JOEUSA. http://www.husaberg.org/modules.php?nam ... pic&t=1334

Sincerely,
Dale

Ps
A word of thanks to Joe as he has been very supportive. His attention to detail, professional insight and unbiased opinion is a tremendous asset.

No FCR 39? :(

Hi Husabutt,
Said kit will indeed be applicable to the FCR 39, however, will likely require a bit of fine tuning via the end user until an ample data base of final adjustment has been established.

Sincerely,
Dale

When they come in I'll take one. Will there be only One specific Neeedle, or will there be different models?

Kevin
2000 FC501, FCR 41, Aux. Tank, Bladder shock Mod., Hot Start Circuit to Handlebar, Steering Damper, custom Kickstand. Big Gun Exhast with quite insert.

One very nice Bike.

Please excuse my ignorance, as I know next to nothing about carbs and jetting.

Will these kits be "one size fits all" or bike model specific? I do know that with the current carb setup on my bike (even after my meager/failed attempts to emulate the resident experts' recommendations) that the pipes are still a pretty blue (good and lean would be my guess). So I need to fix that. And if this cures the problem, then sign me up for what ever I will need for the 550. And as soon as the price is nailed down, I'll need to ask Momma for an advance on my allowance

Barry

Barry,

Once a head pipe has turned blue it will always be blue unless you remove enough of the outside surface to remove the oxidized metal.

Jet kit as solid bushing / solid roller cam chain availability should coincide with my return from Daytona Bike Week mid March.

:?: :?: Ummmm, am I missing something here :?: :?:

Okay,

The jet kit, "as well as" the solid bushing/solid roller cam chain will be available mid march.

Thanks,

Hi Dale,

I hope your trip to Daytona, although arduous, was great.

I was just wondering if we are any closer to being able to purchase the "jet kit" for our FCR carbs.

Thanks,

Once I am back up and running (took a week off) I will confirm an ETA.
Please feel free to give me a call after the 21st.
Kind Regards,
Dale

Ps
Did anyone attending Moab get to throw a leg over the 550 belonging to JoeUSA?

Hi Json,
Congratulations on your new ride!
Once I get caught up I intend to supply you with a few goodies as my contribution to the cause.
Hope all is well.
Sincerely,
Dale

hey sir :)

Heya sir,

I wrote you an email welcoming you back, but I see all my mail from my failed stint w/Thunderbird didn't send. Anyways, it was a good one, and I'm sorry you didn't get it :)

Thank you kindly, I'm pretty stoked about my fortune and friends. Thank you also for your generosity. All I need now are some fuzzy dice and curb feelers :D

I'll re-send the email to you.

thanks,
json

json!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you don't know me!

i did!

twas me that joked to Joe that the jetting was "perfic" if you recall.

i rode the bike for about 400 yards down hill to get us through those loose rocks after the very first drop to that stream.

i eventually arrived at the next stream where you awaited Joe and i. i was by now back on mine as we had a little problem to fix.

i was watching Joe down but it felt fine in that distance.

i rode 4-5 bikes that day by 10am....

regards

Taffy
