Dear UHE,

I'm thinking to change the Dellorto carburator in my FE501e '02.
Please, Which Keihim is better, the FCR-MX39 or FCR-MX41 :?:

In advance thanks a lot for your kind suggestions.

Whats wrong with the dellorto? If you follow some of the jetting specs in here you shouldnt have a problem

Thanks Schultzy for your kind reply.

Well these are the symptoms:

On idle the engine turn off.
When I close the throttle the engine stop.
For example, I'm riding the bike normally, then I decelerate to make a curve and engine stop :?

 :?:

The Dellorto is much better in my opinion. The jetting is a lot easier because of the design.
The idle is fluffy, but the problems you are having is not the dellorto. I think it is the SEM ignition or worn idle jet and needle.

Thanks Fe600racer for your kind opinion.

I will check the idle jet and needle :)
SEM stator was rewinded by Sparks and is working very well. The bike starts only with a few kicks :D

yes, replace the needle and air jet and check your pilot jet along with the the CDR? jet.(it is below the pilot jet). write down your jet sizes and report back! Check the DOC for comparisons
