First ride report:
Took her for a ride yesterday. It is snowy here in the Norwegian woods now, so tires with ice studs is recommended. Went out for couple of hours, and the first impression is very good. The engine is very smooth and has a linear power delivery, very different from my previous FE 450. It has a very good throttle response from idle.
The chassis feels more precise than my old bike.
I am really happy with my new bike. Considered a new 09 for a moment, but think i will wait for the 390.
My friend "clifhanger" bought a new 09 FE450e. We picked up the bikes together. He was also out testing his new bike yesterday. Think his report will show up soon 8)

We are riding moustly in wery tight terrain, and i have only heard good words about the 380 as a trail bike.
I was considering to rebuild my old 450 when my dealer came up with an offer on a new 2008 FE 450 converted to 380.
The price was right so i sold my old bike and bought a new "Classic" Husaberg.
