It just ran out of power and stoped

old yella (My 2005 FS 650e) seems to have a fuel problem. It's always something getting to worried to ride the bloody thing when it keeps braking
checked the electrics and replaced the coil and spark plug.
Only starts on near full throttle and runs rough cleaned out the carby but hasn't changed anything have checked the jets there clean from what i can see and needle and seat look OK .
was running fine did about 1 or 2 km then ran out of power and the motor has only done 700km since full recon. and the carby has done 105 hours.

I answered your PM emrys, just thought someone else might need some things to check when a berg won't start;

if its got a spark and youve checked all the electrics (signal coil) and cleaned the carb then...

carb breathers blocked

o ring on fuel screw missing or damaged

tank vent blocked

RHS main bearing, if its gone the stator dies a slow death while you're trying to start it

valve clearences and timing chain tension

brocken valve spring

failed cam follower bearing

I prolly missed heaps of other stuff

heard about the valve spring possability today
thinking that it's still a fuel problem due to the way the drama started might let the experts fix it
