Is this chain still usable ?

I only have about 50 hours on the bike and chain (an 08), but I noted this small stains of rust on it.

Is it dangerous ? should I replace it or is it normal when the bike is being stored for long periods of time?

the key to gaging chain wear is try to pull the chain off the rear of the rear sprocket. a good chain will not expose the teeth. the more it shows teeth, the more wear. the more chain wear, the more it will make your sprockets wear.
also, you have to be aware of binding links as well, easily seen when on a stand, rolling the wheel thru.
