Is it possible to install Electric starter to FC model?

yeap, i would need to buy the whole electric starter set, including the sparg clutch. Has anyone done this before??

hmm, im just wondering how expensive those parts will be :/ any clue?
I think the motor is the most expensive part, and i saw that taffy is selling those at 80GBP.. which sounds OK price to me.

i can do you the starter sprague assembly used and also the starter clutch so thats the bits in the left cover done. the starter motor you know about but you'll need the mounting bracket which is very expensive new at 44GBP.
then you need a battery in a battery box, an earth wire, then a starter solenoid and it's rubber block and mounting, two red positive HT leads and then you go to the ignition on the crank
i trust you have the small flywheel with the pick ups set infield? if so, you need the larger FE flywheel and stator to suit. it might be that someone will swop with you wants to race still. if not you can buy the FE stuff because these bikes are on the cusp of being broken now.

Is there a 'aftermarket' solenoid & starter relay available? What should i be looking for, i honestly have no idea what so ever..? :? I cant even find the original solenoid from the sparepart list.
Edit: Solenoid = Relay?

go for an R6 starter motor, solenoid and any large HT cables they will supply.
but you still have the problem of the flywheel and stator. I'm not sure you should buy anything until you have bought these items. sourcing them could be fun! (or not! :shock: )
