Hi all,

I'm having issues with my 2012 FE390, it's actually impossible to get it into neutral when its running even using my hand I can't do it. The bike was working fine previously but has not been used in around 12 months and i've only had the issue since then. I replaced the clutch master cylinder seals and spent hours bleeding it from both ends but still seems to be the same. I'm figuring it might be the slave seals? I was going to order a set but the ones I see listed are all for FE390 up to 2011, Isn't this the same model as the 2012??

If anyone has any other suggestions they would be greatly appreciated the bike only has about 90 hours and I do have a rekluse fitted (the ball bearing one) I opened the cover up and checked the gaps as per the rekluse manual and all seems good.

Thanks

2011 and 2012 will have the same part.

The slaves fail with pretty good frequency and the two times it happened to mine it was after the bike sat over the off season. The factory seals will continue to fail in time. Save yourself continued headaches and buy the rekluse or oberon slave cylinder.

Clutch drag and difficulty finding neutral at a stop is common with these bike but less of an issue with electric start. Neutral is easier to find when still rolling forward or by blipping the throttle and shifting while the rpms dropping. If the clutch slave was leaking, you'd eventually notice a loss of mineral oil from the reservoir @ master. Husaberg only lists the entire piston assembly but just the piston O-ring can be replaced with KTM #54832067000 for $2. External O-ring is KTM #077030005 and gasket is #59032065000. So $5 gets you back to stock trim if the bore is not grooved, but the Magura will still be prone to failure. Seals can be replaced with a 5mm allen and snap-ring pliers. Light weight suspension fluid can be used if you don't want to purchase Magura Blood.
