Gents,

In an attempt to make up for my absence at Hatfeild McCoy ride, I would like to extend an invitation to anyone interested in riding the wilds of New Brunswick, my homeland.

In doing so I can be almsot certain I will be in the middle of the pack. :)

All are welcome, same place where we host dealer events. If there is enough interest I will suggest possible dates and details

Cheers

Hi Jedi,
I would be up for a ride toward the end of next month(25/26th)I can bring others..how many is up to you :D If you are in the middle of the group, how will we know which way to go? :(
...nsman

For good or bad nsman, i usually let Coffin take the lead. Hes beginning to get to know the area well, and hes just crazy enough that nobody gets out of hand because they are distracted by him :)

My main goal is to participate :). Seems to be a challenge to get the time to do so. Solution? host it in the back 40.

My other goal would be to let some of the pure bergites try out some new bergs,....... eat, drink and be merry. Its good to hear from this group. Our facility will comfortably hold 30 people, which is plenty for a ride. and if there is enough interest I would make it happen more then once.

Only issue being timing. The woods are full of hunters by October 15th. Maybe I should offer combo berg whitetail trips :D

Buried a buddy today. Be careful out there.

Pending timing, I am in like Flynn. Still not sure when I leave the country yet, should find out tomorrow. But, if this happens on the 25/26 of September, I can definately show up. Wait, I WILL definately show up.

Jedi, you don't seem to be having the best month, huh? Best wishes from myself. Hope things get better.

Jedi,
As long as I can square-up the time off at work, I'll be there !

Thanks !

Brian

Parsko,
Here's what I was thinking ! I drive to your place, pick you up, and it's off to New Brunswick ?!

Sounds good to me. But, it depends on when. I am leaving the US on october 1st. This is definate now. So, hopefully it will happen before then. But, yes, I agree with said idea.

Sounds like a great way, but cash availability is low
real low. Have you seen the cost of the parts for my
motor!! sorrow true sadness

Eman,
Is Husaberg going to do something about your parts / warranty, or is your brand new bike going to sit there apart for the rest of it's life ?

hey bp219

Husaberg (FACTORY) is going to do nothing in other words
tuff-luck
Husaberg USA was very helpful in submitting my claim
I have no ill feelings towards them

Wow eman369,
Nice hi-jack of what started out as a great thread and invite to Husaberg headquarters. I think we are all bummed in regards to what has happened to your new/old Berg but the sympathy for your situation is running thin. Please ask for help and try to resolve things in a diplomatic fashion rather than talking crap on a thread that is in no way related to your woes.

It is extremely rare for an importer/distributor to be in close contact with their end users via the internet for reasons as the example you are making. Will ruining this relationship for the rest of us really make you happy? I hope not.

Jedi,
Thanks for the invite. If I didn't live $1,000.00 worth of gasoline away, I'd love to make the ride.

Thanks,
Logjump

Thick skin.

No Worries Logjump. For good or bad I choose to keep in touch.

I actually thought that we had this one covered, but obviously not.

As far as the ride goes, the ability to pull it off can happen at any time, whichever works for a group. The interest level doesnt seem to be very high, but I would like to try to get a group in before October 1.

The offer is not limited to timing. If a group can fly up at any time when there is no snow, I'll be sure to have bikes and beds for a relatively low cost.

Hi Josh,
Thanks for the invite. I really think there is plenty of interest, timing is more than likely the issue. It seems these rides usually take 3 to 4 months to plan for as far as most participants go. Unfortunately 3 or 4 months would put it into winter. Maybe we could find a date in spring would give us something to shoot for.
I know in my case that between the Baja 1000, Moab and Hatfield & McCoy my hall pass from the misses has just about expired for this year

I am kicking around the idea of a Force ride in the Phoenix area around Feb.. Should be just about the right timing for all of the cold weather boy's to be Jonesin for some good trail riding.

Ken

Log,
You obviously took MY email the wrong way ! Eman had nothing intended at all. I was just asking Eman a question directly. His 'Berg broke 2nd ride out at no fault of his own. Josh has bent over backward to try and help, but alas, 'Berg corparate says no.

Well, for the sake of putting a foot down, what say ye that we get together the weekend of the 24th of September?

Granted, it is REALLY selfish I ask for this date, since I am going to Europe the following weekend, and going camping the prior weekend, and this is the only weekend I have available for something like this.

Josh, please let us know if this is cool. Maybe we could get some of the Northeast guys (FC501East, AtomicPunk, Husabergler...) to swing up.

If this does happen, and is cool, I think I might fly up early Saturday morning. But, we will see.....

Otherwise, I will catch you guys on the flip-side!

-Parsko

unfortunately thats about the only weekend that wont work for me.

the 2 prior weekends work, which is short notice. and after could work too.

I'll leave an open invitation for this fall and next spring / summer.

Thanks for the offer. May be something I can plan for next year. Maybe you can make it to Hatfield McCoy next year. I guess it will be wait and see for a while. Take care.

Jedis' Invite

Hi, Josh and all the gang....
Thanks for the invite to the north woods, sounds like a real treat, particularly if it runs same time as deer season. Ah, would we have to wear Blaze ORANGE  :D like we do here in Maine??
Currently under the financial gun (more like a howitzer!!), no funds available for miscellaneous fun :( nor bike repairs, but working towards solution. Hope ya all can get together for a good NorEast ride!!
