Hi I'm Tom 21 years old and own a 08 fs650e husaberg.
I registered to this site because I'm interested to get more info about this great bike :notworthy:

SDC17043klein.jpg

I have mine for a year and a haf (bought new) and have about 90 hours +-5500km on it without any issues....
So ver happy with the reliability of husaberg.
The 09 husaberg 570 would be a very nice next bike so hope I can get some personal experiences from people who own this peace of art.

In december I will take the engine apart for the 1st time (if it doesn't brake sooner  )
And renew some parts and change the looks off the bike a little while i'm busy 8)
I'm not realy a great mechanic (NOOB) but I hope I will be able to do most of it myself...

Do'nt know if this topic belongs here, But if it doesn't feel free to remove it

PS I own a naked bike to for bigger trips (+-10 000km/year) only fun km's because I use my bycicle to go to work

Want to know something from me just ask

Nice looking bike BBR, just need to nick Cyphers black wheels to make it the dogs b@ll@cks!

I realy like the looks of the wheels now (except for the gray standard hubs)
But I already have a 5" behr wheel I bought from ebay (never used 8) )
By the end of july I will go from 4,25 to 5' rim and when I get the enigine out and have some money left I would like to have the hubs in blue like the disc brakes center

Thx for the comments :)

i'm goin to see how much i enjoy the supermoto wheels on my fe450 and if i enjoy them i may try and get hold of a fs650 as i want to have a go a some hill climbing, thrashing the 450 up the tarmac just makes me a little nervious and i think the 650 isnt goin to be so stressed.

Beautiful looking bike Tom, looks fantastic in black. 18 months and 90 hours with no issues can't be far off a record for anyone on this site!
Just shows how relaible the later bergs are.
Have you got size 15 feet? That gear lever is really high.

Regards Freaky

Never ridden a 450 berg but the 550/650 have 5 short gears and one overdrive and plenty of torque to ride with 16/40 teeth 8)
My first supermoto was a husqvarna smr450 (04) great bike but a little more nervous /higher revs for higher speed

Thx the only maintenance I did so far is changing oil/filter (oil every+-10hours) and checked/adjusted the valves only once, hoping to get to 110/120 hours without breaking down before I get the motor out for some new parts :p

I like the black to but not realy happy with my cheap *** stickers  next season full custom made sticker set 8)

hello,
mine has 7200kms so far(140 hours) since september totally flawless.

precautionally i switched to dual valve springs from taffy few hours ago.
major difference in every aspect.the engine now is very revvy and the electric start works without pulling the manual decompression. the valve gear now gets a lot less stress.
note that in 2008 bikes at least, the head is prepared from the factory to accept the dual valve spring kit without modification.
so you just remove the old ones and install the dual ones.

while i was there i saw the did camchain was very very worn so i switched to a more expencive iwis camchain.

the bike is used in dirt, some mx sections , commuting and my preparation to our national supermoto championship. i will race two events with this engine as it is.

no complaints so far

Thx for the info I was planning to buy dual valve springs from taffy + camchain + maybe race cam (torque) But hope the engine stays fine till then (december) I use it for street/sometimes track today I did LOTS off off roading 8) almost 93hours on the clock :D
The engine is sweating a little bit in some places hope this will be fixed when I put it back together next winter...
But no drama it rides fine and almost loses/uses no oil 8)
today changed the oil/filter again after the ride gonna need to clean the airfilter again soon with all that dust from today

Had some problems to get on the forum lately (couldn't login :?: ) but now I'm back and the berg is still running sweet with 105 hours on the clock 8)

I've seen some photo's of the 010 fs 570

So now I decide to put my berg for sale on the net
(If I don't get a good price for it the berg stays with me  )

Here some action pics :D :

It's not made for riding it gently
I like to be easy on it when it's cold but after some miles The throttle is mostly wide open
I realy like this bike 8)
