During my ride last weekend my 2002 FE650 developed a dripping leak from the area of the left petcock above the exhaust pipe. The leak stopped after about 20 minutes. This has happened once in the past so I removed the petcock and added a gasket with sealant which seemed to fix the problem.
My thought is that the heat from the exhaust after I stop is somehow causing the leak which stops once things cool off.
Has anyone else had this issue and were able to resolve it?
