Earplugs are the way to go, I wear them for work so I am used to having something stuck in my ears.
IMHO the best type to use are the Norton Decidamp they are soft foam and you don’t even know they are there.
Call me a pusssy but I can’t go without them.

(I had to use 3 S's in Pusssy othewise it shows up as pansy and I won't have a computer calling me a pansy) :angry:

I don't hop on any motorbike at all without putting earplugs. I have been doing this since the late seventies and my hearing is still excellent for my age. 54!!

If you think it is loud now, try it with the seat off or a hole cut in the seat for better breathing. Deafening.

I run no Air Cleaner on my LS1 and the Intake Noise sounds even better than the 570 Husaberg.
The Argo Gearbox at 6,200rpm leaves a ringing in your ears like front seats at an AC/DC concert :lol:
I am real pro Autronic EFI and it works real well on my LS1 boat. Only major mod was a 4 Lobe plate I made up on a Precision Parts Harmonic Balancer for the EFI Crank Angle Sensor, and Bosch Coils.
My boat near leaps out of the water from a standstill, I reckon I could rip the hole Wheel and swingarm off a bike with my LS1 in it, and fling the chain part way to the moon
