Interesting. I haven't, but I've got a Golan Super Mini ready to go on my 570. What would be the difference you think?

FWIW, the 2010 FX450 didn't even have the filters from the factory.
At least mine didn't.

I relocated that filter to the trash after advice from my husaberg seller. Just like tourist I have a micro golan.

The first black from KTM was 10 micron. That swelled up restricting the fuel. Instead of keeping a 10 micron filter that KTM originally deemed needed they "fixed" that problem by installing a 15 micron filter (grey). So one can assume that when the 15 micron swells up due to heat it becomes a 10-ish?? Sloppy solution imho. So I purchased a micro golan that I can clean.

So if you want to use that filter I guess it would be better closer to the quick disconnect as that should be a cooler place than up next to the injector? Just a thought.

An alternative route is the KTM filter for the 2014 450 exc, part number 9, 12 and 14 in the pic. The male (#12) will fit the berg oem female.

Easily accessed and cleanable, works good on my bike.

That's quite a good solution! As long as one changes the filters it works. To keep it hidden in a remote location is not the best.
