So guys, haven't been here since 2008. After supermoto died in my neck of woods I've been car racing.
I did however buy a 2008 FS550C from Dave Clarke in 2008. That has run 11 hours. No, not joking :)

I now found a road legal FS650e with a broken engine...
So during winter, I'm looking forward to be getting back on a Berg.

The engine needs a new rod, piston and liner.

Two Bergs and three Minis in the garage now :)

Almost stripped it, next is powdercoating frame and rear arm.

The cylinder is infact sent to Canada for replating. No, not joking :-D

 
hi and welcome back!

where did you send your cylinder out for replating in Canada. CVtech maybe?

I will need to get mine done this winter so I'm just trying to get some info.

Nice MK1. I have a black Mk1 2 door with a pinto / 5 speed / arches etc. How much was that worth in the Uk?

I'm in Norway, but it was around £5000.

I know. That's why I picked it up :)

Now, the front suspension is on, but damn, that steering bearing is difficult to adjust. It's just one of those jobs I hate!!:furious:
 
So there you go. I went away again.....

Back X2.

My engine is now in England at Taffy's, being rebuilt to make it torquier than ever.

I just need to get the bike done so it's ready for the new engine.

If you want Taffy I guess you could tell us more about the engine if you'd like.

My biggest concern right now is:

Where on earth did I put the bloody handle bars for the bike....???:confused:
 
550 is just sat there.....The track has closed down, so I cannot use it anymore. I'm looking for a frame with paperwork, so I can just swap it all over to taht frame.
The bike is still on 11hours :)

650...Being rebuilt as we speak. I'll update when something cool happens :)
