whilst im sat here bored, watching crap tv and listening to nivarna albums (oh dear) though id start a random thread.

id like to live some where there are 4 seperate season, not the continious uncertain 1 we seem to have and its got to be within easy reach of mountains and the sea.

whilst living in this shangrila as well as my bergs id like some classic muscle car 1970 buick gsx, 65 pontiac, 69 charger perhaps.
moderncars, Aston martin Db9 and bmw m5.

then to lug the bikes a '72 ranchero as well as something modern.

for road bike a bmw HP2 sport.

then ill also have my secret underwater city and moonbase where i can plan my world domination, haha .............mini-me where are you!?

anyone else got anything?
 
That is quite a wish list...What is your job paying to let you afford all that! Or have you upped the dosage on the painkillers!!!
 
You need to come to California, No not southern (LS/Sandiego) -but Northern CA. we have four seasons. And depending on where you live, you could be at just about any micro climate you wish in just a few hours (or even minutes) alpine lakes/high sierra mountains/high desert/fertrile valleys/ rolling hills/ sunny beaches/cool misty rain forests/ and hot arid grass lands) on any given day you could be snow skiing in the sierra in the morning and surfing in Santa Cruz in the afternoon.

I would venture to say that California, although a cesspool of political correctness and crappy government, is just about the perfect geological makeup of any place I can think off.

I bet that you could run for governor and win handily with your world domination bent.... hell we elected the terminator to get rid of the worst governor the state has ever had, now we are worse off that we were before and Arnie has proven to us that it really does take MIND OVER MUSCLE

autum / spring trailride, raining ice cold needles of rain / hail one minute, the next sweating your a$$ off in the blistering sun!

Try searching for Numeralla NSW Australia in Google Earth. Zoom out and you'll see some of the world's best coastline and beaches to the east, mountains, skiing and lakes to the west and our capitol city Canberra to the north. Each of them are less than 1.5 hours away, so yeah its possible to ski in the morning and surf in the afternoon in spring. Definitely 4 seasons, freezing in winter and 35 deg in summer. Its my shangrila. Much of the timbered country you can see is for riding. The first bit is straight out my shed door, and eventually when I get to the gate, it just goes on and on and on. I've travelled the world a few times, and there are still far more places that I haven't been to than those I have, but this is as good as I've found and better than most.

to go skiing in the morning..ride to the coast and go diving with sharks in the afternoon is selling Australia to me!!!!!
 
If we didn't publicise the sharks, crocs, snakes and spiders, not to mention the killer koalas and the yowies found down my way, then everyone would want to come. So, stay away, Oz is a very dangerous place, you could be killed at any moment by rampant fauna, so if you are not up for it, and/or even just a little bit afraid, then stay away!!!
