As most of you know, I have been making some parts for our Husabergs, and I have a couple ideas on some other parts, but I have a problem. We have yet to come up with a good name for the company. I thought it would be fun to see what you guys can come up with. If you have any ideas I would like to here them. Names that have some relevancy are prefered, here are two names we are kicking around.
PROSE off-road performance products. Prose is a form of poetry, the name comes from the Latin word Prosa, which means straightforward.
the second name
SKOLL off-road performance products. Skoll is a Viking/Norse mythical wolf who chases the sun.
So, got any ideas? Lets hear them.
 
Sweaty Nipples Off-Road Products (SNORP)
Squidy the Spode Racing Components (this could inspire a great cartoonesque mascot)

I like the "Saturday Night Live" inspired idea, but I would suggest using something else. One of the true internet insiders' SNL quote is from the Christopher Walken skit in which he was the manager of the group "Blue Oyster Cult," set in the '70s when they were taping the song "Don't Fear the Reaper."

What was his answer for everything?

Sweaty nipples off-road products(SNORP) reminds me of the man show where they took a hot model down to Mardi Gras and put hair on her chest, they then put her out on a balcony. While the crowd was yelling"show your ****", she lifted her shirt, and the crowd went silent. Thats funny there! Keep'em coming guys.
 
"Bend Engineering", "Bend Aftermarket" or "Bend Protection"?

May be a bit wussey, but "BendWare"?

It would sound homely to you & indicate the stuff's origins while retaining a hint of imminent catastrophe to the customer. :)

If you limit the name to something 'berg specific you will regret it when the company grows to a multi-million dollar business that makes aftermarket bits for all breeds of machine. 8)

Bundybear, you are right , I am trying to steer away from names that pin the company down to one brand, as I do want to expand into parts for other makes. Thank you to all who have offered sugestions. My latest idea is Hardware products.
 
who would be the partners in this business enterprise? would it be those fine upstanding jocks called ben madoon and phil mccavity or would it be those kissing cousins pat fitzgerald and gerald fitzpatrick?
