Hi chaps,

For FE550S force 2004, which are the best sprocket combination to use for supermoto???? What are your ideas?????

i always run 14 or 15 / 42 on the track. never used it on the road tho'

If you think the question thru, there is absolutely no way to choose "the best" sprockets for any type of racing other than to respond that the "best" gearing is the one that works best for you, and your bike on the track you are at that day. Don't mean to sound like a smart ***, but any other answer is just a shot in the dark. After typing this I realized you may have meant what is the best brand/design sprockets for supermoto.....did you?

It's not about the brand, about the combination I was asking but anyway, your reply is true.....it always depends on the rider's riding style and preferences.
 
I don't compete and only do average Joe road use so I use gearing as high as possible (17/42 or 17/40) to drop the engine revs when cruising to reduce engine wear & tear. You can always drop it back a cog or two to accelerate!

I race on tight tracks with 14-40 or 14-42 on my 650. Topspeed about 160km/u wich is good
