If he was any hotter, he would have melted through the ice.
He was rippin it up on his KTM250.

He had a borrowed FE there but I don't think it saw any action.

It was a wild day Nizzo.Coffin had his hands full with the local hotshoe but came through with a heat win and provided the best racing of the day.
There is still lots of fire in Coffin yet. :D

Great pics Kelsow! Thanks for coming out. It was a pleasure to meet you and I wish we would have had more time to chat.

Also have say a big thank you to nsman and billtech for putting on a very fun event.

My 550 was sick but I did bring Jedi's 450 with intent on running it in the endurance race. We did not use it in the end because one of my team meets has short legs and we ended up running his KX450F with a lowered seat.

Jedi's 450 was running great (thanks to Fryguy & Nizzo for the tips) but I decided to run my 2 stroke for the oval races and avoid the potential of wrecking some one else's bike. I love my Berg but I must admit that I was having a blast screaming that 2 stroke.

You might be happy to note in the pictures that I'm running a yellow Husaberg front number plate on the 2 stroke! :D

The local hot shots (Steve and Brenton) were absolutely hauling and I was just happy to come away unscathed. I'm not sure how much fire I have left nsman but it sure was fun trying to use age and treachery to overcome the young guns!

Cheers

Way to go Coffin! Showin' the young guns what experience and tenacity can do at the end of the day.

Talk about snow, where was the plow?

when you say "endurance race"...was that oval or two way?
nizzo

We had two plows going steady but still could not keep up with the snow.
The endurance race was a two way, pretty short at about a minute a lap.

nsman,
wow it must've really been snowin'! 1 minute lap times would've been fun...kinda like moto...you don't forget any part of the track after a few laps. cool!
The hot ticket for plowing is a skid steer or small tractor with a sweeper attachment...nothing quite like polished ice :!:

Wow! I just watched that video of the two guys stunting on the Buell. Whoever that dude is on the front of the bike is absolutely nuts. I would not get on the front of that thing with those spikes for a milllion dollars. Well maybe for a million if I had Kevlar underwear.
:D

Seriously, I'm going to have nightmares about getting run over by that monster.
