I was just reading about a product called iCat on www.icatusa.com
. The site says that the device is supposed to improve the spark that the engine receives. It's installed between your coil and spark plug. Their site says that it helps improve starting and also improves power a small amout. Has anyone heard of or used this before?

I have never read anything about this "icat" product but it sounds like the same thing as The Nology "Hot wire". There is a review in the "Top 10" link of the left site of the UHE website that you can read a little bit about the Nology product if you care.

Regards,

$200? Wow... Is it "satisfied or your money back"?

The Nology wire costs quite a bit less: $36, but how is this thing supposed to fit on a Berg?

I ran the Nology Wire on my 550. The only thing I noticed was my wallet was 40.00 lighter.

Well, it makes a better looking spark. You should have put a Web cam in the cylinder, then you'd know.

I like the exothermic fuel reaction part the best.

Exothermic reaction
Chemical reaction where the energy content of the products is less than that of the reactants; heat is given out from the system.

It's as if the nerd was on a coffee-break, and the marketing guy went over to his desk and rummaged through some of his papers and said "Hey, I can use this to sell this thing" :D

From the ad "copy" it looks like the Icat may be an inductee to the
Gizmo Hall of Shame

Joining the ranks of the Powernow gizmo and the Boyesen Quickshot.

Hopefully someone has tried or knows someone who has tried one.

The Nology Hotwire is this years nominee

Their explanation does not make sense and is obviously aimed at impressing teenagers.

Heath Voss has an expensive hobby: warbirds (he flies a P51 Mustang). That explains why he would accept that type of advertising on his helmet.
