Dave at Bike Barn in Medford Oregon just purchased this rarity. I once swore that Husaberg would never make a quad :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

In the 2000 sales brochure p 17 - they show a 400 , 501 , and a 600 and the same models with the "e" designation- AJORD . definetly a rarity. i've never seen one in the flesh. personally cant stand quads , but because it has the berg motor in it id sure like to have one FOR A YARD ORNAMENT ..

the thing i like about the motor is that its got accessability to the piston without splitting the case .
 
the 2001 owners video actually shows a clip of a mechanic at the berg factory working on a quad.

As far aws I know it was in 2000

My vin number is 000002 it was the second one made I have no idea as of the number made.

I only know of three others in existance besides mine

MotorXmaniac has one he is located in Australia

There was a guy along time ago I talked to from Africa who had one

And there is one other guy on this board who got a motor form Dale a while back buy I cannot remember what he went by on this board.


There may be moe nut that is all I know about.


The three others say that their units where not complete mine was got lucky I guess.

In Nova Scotia, quads don't have a very good name. Lots of hooligans racing up and down the street and turning lovely single track into 2 lane mud bogs.
We are in the midst of loosing our right to ride and it's all because of the riders of these machines in our area.
 
Enforcer4, have you ever had the beast up to Silver Lake? We have a cabin there and my 'berg gets a lot of looks and thumbs up.

We have laid our hands on the last bits and pieces of the parts remaining from the production in "Rofors-Sweden. The production stopped long ago and the remainings was then bought by Bjoern Karlsson-MC SPORT in Stockholm/ Sweden.
He still have alot of parts. +46-8-59430770. Olle or Bjoern.

We have the moulds for frame assembly, if some one needs a new frame or other parts. call Rickard: +46-303-80324 or [email protected]

we are looking to build one toghether when we have some time over, will be good fun to ride it on the frozen lakes, fully studed tires and 670cc engine.

if quads were all that was , id definetly want it to be a berg .....
