i installed FMF muffler on 2008 FE550E

I installed my FMF Titanium pipe (from my KTM) on my 2008 FE550e Husaberg. i took it off my KTM 450 exc just to see if it would fit, and it fit perfectly. up until now, i've only seen Akrapovic pipes on Husabergs.

Really, I like my Akra. I get lots of compliments on how quiet it is, yet the bike still is strong everywhere. The only downside is that people can't hear me when I come up on them and want to pass., but hey, as a former AA enduro rider I am used to yelling to get past someone. :lol: But it is nice to know that there is a cheaper alternative to Akra, especially now that the Hbgs don't come with a sparky.

I don't know what part number it is but its a titanuim 4 slip on, bought for my 2003 ktm 450 exc. i think if they fit ktm then they must fit husaberg?

I've got an FMF Factory 4 titanium muffler that came with another bike. I put it on my EXCF 250 and it gave it more power from mid revs up, but it was also more peaky. However it was very loud, I mean offensively loud, so that muffler sits in the garage now. I wouldn't run it on any bike due to its noise levels and refuse to sell it due to its noise levels. We have to pass 96 dB for all racing (MX and enduro) here in Aus and next year it will be 94 dB.
