...for me to introduce myself, since I've been around for a few months and never got to do it :ninja:

I'm a web developer from Porto, Portugal who has recently found that an engine on top of two wheels is a lot a fun. I usually spend the days coding/designing and use the bike to commute and hit the twisties with some friends.

There's not much left to say about myself, except that in addition to web development I also love photography and music :cool:

I bought my first bike on 2010, a chinese-engine-with-some-quality-parts-assembled-in-portugal kind of bike that looked like this when I sold it:

(That's an AJP PR3 200cc with 18hp and 110kg)

Pretty good for a first bike I should say, although you will quickly crave for more power.

Last year I bought a Berg FS 550e from 2007 with roughly 3000km on it. Scared the **** out of me the first time i rode it around town. That's too much power for a noob!

It looked like this when I first bought it:

After a few months it turned into this:

Meanwhile it went for a partial engine rebuild due to a fail of a crank bearing (reported somewhere around here as well).

It is now getting a new transformation: headlight, chainwheel, chain, blinkers, mirrors, air filter, iridium spark plug and later on some graphics I'm still working on.

Hope it lasts enough for me to learn everything I can with it :)

Good stuff, motorcycles are a life long addiction, once bitten.

Jeez, could you at least clean your bikes up before posting pictures? {{ sarcasm!}}

Those are some beautiful bikes you have there! Welcome and glad to have you aboard!
