hey guys,

I have been looking for a Husq forum for quite some time and stumbled upon www.uptiteracing.com and noticed they have a forum dedicated to all Husqvarnas. Yes, Thumpertalk has a Husky section, but sometimes messages get deleted when they are about 2 strokes. So, if you want to talk about all Husqvarnas, old and new, 2 and 4 stroke, uptiteracing is the place to go.
Promoting someone else's forum is generally not a good topic in any type of forum. Not meaning to detract from UHE in anyway. As a Husky fan, I would like to promote the uptiteracing.com site in a friendly way. Many of us who ride and like Husabergs also like Husqvarnas. Since uptiteracing.com showcases a different brand I felt it would not cause a conflict of interest. Plus, I confirmed permission from the man himself---the man who sings Lynard Skynard's Freebird as "FreeBERG"---ha ha ha.

It seems both of these have been around for longer than a few weeks. For the past few weeks I have been searching "Husqvarna forum" and the like. Neither of these came up. Well, got 'em now. Thanks.

No, but I seriously thinking about it. wr430 should be a fast bike. The suspension was done by a place called C-Cycles---popular shop in the New England area. Good looking bike too. We'll see what happens.

I checked out the uptite web page it looks real nice.

I usuallly don't make a habbit out of baggin on people in open forums such as these, however, in this case I will make an exception due to my strong feelings about uptite.

I used to do business with them years ago when I was racing a 1982 250cr. And without being specific I can tell you that I WOULD NEVER DO BUSISNESS WITH GEORGE EARL THE OWNER OF UPTITE. And be forwarned, if you choose to do business with this man you will end up extremely unhappy in the end. His shop I'm told is the same as it was years ago, a pile of crap.

I did business with him until he made an extremely disparaging remark about another shop owner who was his competitor at the time, which was totally unwarranted, low, and down right mean. And by the way, that shop owner that he made the bad remarks about has gone on to become a well known name world wide and highly respected as well.

Recently a long time good friend of mine was doing business with him, and against my advice used uptite for work on a project bike. The bike was problematic from the beginning, and now has found out that the motor was not put together properly and will cost him some bucks at another shop to get it right. My friend coceeded that I was right and he regrett's doing business there.

That's my two cents, and I hope all who read this take it seriously

The Husky guys at Thumpertalk said they already knew about the up-tite husky board and prefered to use Thumpertalk. I think the Huskytalk will eventually become the best one---if enough people go there to talk about Huskys. As for now, it appears Thumper is the most active and they seem to accept talking about 2 strokes in the Husky section where they don't in the Jap sections of TT.

If I may suggest.... sell the Husquavarna if you own one or forget about it alltogether, thus keeping you from having to find a quality place to talk about it, and stick with the nice Husabergs, to have and hold, in sickness and health, until death..... you get the point! With a Husaberg you will get the best bike on the planet and the opportunity to frequent the best site on the web...The UHE!!! :D :D :D

Problem solved!!!

Regards,

The TT board is rather juvenile anyway.Who
there is going to be able to tell you the proper
deckhigth etc.? (sparkplug gap- maybe)
