Husky parts compatibility

How can I find out if a husky part will fit my husa? Specifically I am trying to find out if parts from a Husky 500 MX will fit a Husa FC 501. I can't afford new parts and can't find used parts. I've listed this bike to part out but I would rather rebuild her. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry I am looking for transmission parts. Specifically, I believe the main shaft and 2nd gear. My bike is a '96.

There is a 96 being parted on ebay right now. You might try contating the guy to see if he has the trans. available.

Also try to contact US ebay user name "pbrown151515". While he does not appear to have any current listings, in the last week or so I got a '96 model radiator and clutch from him and he had quite a few other '96 parts for sale. The cost of freight ended up being more than we thought so he thankfully refunded the clutch while still selling the radiator. Seemed a top bloke to deal with.

I don't like your chances of finding many Husaberg made internals that can be directly replaced by Husky parts. Some more generic bits such as sprockets are the same though.

Thanks guys, I did see those parts on ebay, I guess I hadn't thought to just email the sellers. I'll have to give that a go. Maybe even if they have a grenaded trans it won't have eaten the parts I need.?. Worth a shot I suppose.
