I was out riding my 2013 Husaberg FE450 today, as normal the bike was running fine.
It was my first ride after the bike had sat for about two months, I had turned it off and on about 5-6 times during the ride to stop and chat to my friend who was also riding.
The 7th time I started it and it took off as normal then the bike cut out and I lost all power, the bike won't start with the button and I couldn't clutch start it.
When I walk the bike, the speedometer comes on.
I've brought it home and put it on the trickle charger, the charger is giving me the green light to say the battery is full, what the hell, the bike still won't start.
I've checked all electrical connectors to make sure nothing has come lose and to my surprise it's all in tact.
Does anyone have any idea of what this could be, I'd like to try and diagnose myself before I take it to a mechanic and spend possibly hundreds.
Some background on the bike.
- I've had the bike since about 80 hours, It's been serviced every 5 hours with new oil and filter.
- The valves have just been checked at the mechanic 5 hours ago.
- I've never had any issues with the bike, always used 95 or 98 RON Fuel and always kept the air filter clean every 2-3 rides it was changed.
SOLVED - IT WAS A 20A MAIN FUSE WHICH HAD BLOWN.
